A Columbia Day

This photo above was a surprise as we pulled off to the side of the road
to let someone pass us because we were wanting to enjoy the
day. As we pulled over I noticed the road going into the
country and I had to jump out and explore just
a little bit. I fell in love with the light here!

This was on a lovely little date my boyfriend took me on in February.
At this point the sun was starting to be a little kinder to us
even though the wind was still cruel. I will always
love going up the gorge and marveling at the
beauty that is really just out my back door.

Winter River

I was so excited when the sun came out for this shot.
It was an instant change from the dull winter gray that we had
had for so long and in a moment I turned around and saw
that these tall, a second earlier ugly trees, were stunning!
They made me forgive the winter a little bit.
